The TAMU Hip Hop Society is dedicated to: (1) Encouraging a greater understanding of Hip Hop Culture, emphasizing each of the 5 ELEMENTS: Emceeing - Deejaying - Breaking - Graffiti Art - Hip Hop Knowledge (2) The initiation, promotion, and support of academic, cultural, and social interaction between members of the Hip Hop community at TAMU and other campuses nationwide (3) Aiding in the establishment of similar Hip Hop societies on other campuses in the Southwestern US and beyond.
